These videos are of yesterday’s snowstorm, before it really got going. It raged all day and all through the night. When we got out of bed this morning it was still snowing and the car was almost buried! At least the ploughs kept the roads clear. We just couldn’t get off the drive. It took almost four hours to clear it!
The second video was taken by our daughter Faye, who did a great job.
Oh my ! I could only imagine such snow storms ! Here in the tropics we have been anticipating cyclones and trying to escape the oppressive humidity with blended ice and watermelon …and air conditioning ! This crazy world we live in …
Oh I think I’d rather live in that crazy world than this one lol. Sunshine doesn’t take any shovelling.
I’d definitely exchange hot chocolate and layers of clothing for ice and watermelon.
Wooooow.It was really snowed there.I’ve never saw something like this.In my country (Roumania) it was -37°C now few days.
I hope that the weather it will change it in the future.

Yes we certainly had some snow this weekend. Although it’s much warmer now than it was last week. It was -20 last week but nearer zero now. Soon be spring I hope. lol

Unbelievable, huh? I “walked to town” today, since a plow still hasn’t graced our street. School’s closed tomorrow. I’m thinking Tuesday, too, but the powers-that-be won’t announce that yet. Have fun!
We managed to get the car out today. The roads are now clear. The temperature rose, and that helped the roads stay clear but the snow is piled everywhere. It looks like we’ll be back at work in the morning, and the schools should be open.
