the path of life may sometimes be smooth
as straight as a die cast
by the gods above
or an endless landscape of peaks
and valleys
climbs and descents
hard work
for some
a walk in the park
for others
the easy path may be preferred
but if you don’t climb those mountains
you never get to see the view
.

So true Paul ! On some paths we are blinded by the rain, but what a treat when we look back over our shoulder and the rainbow finally shines through.
I like the rain and rainbow analogy, Colleen. That’s a lovely way to see it.
“Life is all about perspective..and Geometrical Drawing (GD) too is about perspective”… when the GD professor said that it was laughter in the class…am reminded of that class here…with that picture and words
The fun i think is that only from the bottom of a mountain, one could have a perspective of the mountain itself….am i right?

Sometimes the views suck, but honestly, where’s the creativity in an easy path. If we had easy paths, all we’d do is dwell on the mountain ranges we’ve crossed already.
Yes Medicated Lady, and if it was easy we wouldn’t recognise the beauty of the good view when we finally got to see it.
Maybe the views that suck are the ones at the end of the easy paths.
